Memorial Window Description & History
Stained Glass Window at Camperdown St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church - Memorial Window Description & History
The intriguing title of one of the lights, The Folly of War suggests that this may be a window of great interest, however the window has not yet been located. Mr. EW Chapple placed the order with William Mathieson of Mathieson & Gibson in 1954, although that firm had closed its doors around 1950. As was Mathieson's practice, he provided a sketch and instructions to Brooks, Robinson & Co. for two lights measuring 100 1/4 x 21 inches.
