This Smooth-barked apple gum is located at in the front garden of this residential property. The tree has a well-balanced canopy, with no structural defects. The tree is in fair condition despite 3 large wounds on the trunk.
How is it significant?
This Smooth-barked apple gum is significant for aesthetic and scientific reasons at Regional level.
Why is it significant?
This Smooth-barked apple gum is an excellent example of the species. It is outstanding for its size at a height of 26-26.5m, girth of 3.6m and canopy spread of 16-19m. It makes a significant contribution to surrounding residential street-scape. The tree exhibits curious growth in the form of twisted branches, a unique characteristic of this species.
