Residence - Physical Description 1
Physical Description of Site The site has several mature trees and a plain timber strut fence, with a wire gate on the south boundary. The late Victorian Filligree style four room cottage is a single story, timber framed and weatherboard clad structure. The hipped roof is clad in green painted corrugated iron, with an ornate red brick chimney behind the ridge, and has a separate bullnosed verandah roof, close to the roof line, clad in corrugated iron. The south elevation verandah has cast iron posts, decorative cast iron frieze, fringe and brackets, and timber floorboards. The verandah is enclosed on the west and east ends with lattice and boarding. The house has a symmetrical facade with a central timber frame door, and two timber framed doublehung windows.
