Statement of Significance
See National Trust Study of Victoria's Concrete Road Bridges (2008, 2010). This bridge is listed in 'Table 13: Other locallysignificant concrete bridges in Victoria identified in the ConcreteBridges Study 'on p.114. It is described as a three-span bridgeconstructed of reinforced concrete 'T' beams with integral solidflatdeck slab. Each span is just over 10.33m and the total length is31m. Itwas constructed in 1930 and compares with the 1939 bridge overthe Coalition Creek on the Strzelecki Highway, north of Leongatha. Thebridge is situated on the Mardan Road, just to the east of the Lawson'sRoad intersection in Koorooman.
