STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
'Glendon' is a late Victorian red brick house which is unusual in Geelong West. It has an excellent degree of integrity. It is of LOCAL significance.

"Landreath"/"Glendon" - Physical Description 1
Description
The single storey, predominately red brick house exhibits many features of late Victorian architecture. These include the asymmetrical front elevation, polychrome brickwork, banded slatework, fine detailing on the cast iron columns, brackets and frieze and elaborate window and door decoration. The decorative brackets either side of the front entrance are of particular note. Other elements of note are the original roof form, tuckpointed brickwork, eaves decoration and the tiled and slate edged verandah.
