Residence - Physical Description 1
A most complex and romantic hip roofed Edwardian timber house. Gables project at an angle at right with a skillion hood over a bay window, at centre and there is a gablet at left. Here, the verandah beneath and part of the main hip returns around the angle to terminate at a projecting wing at the rear left side, at the entrance. This wing has a rectangular skillion bay window next to a canted version.
The verandah has turned posts with sunflower brackets and an arched spindle palisade and rail valence. Gables have turned finials. Chimneys are large, with corbelled coursed and terra cotta pots.
