STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
75 Fyans Street has architectural significance at a local level. The building is a representative and reasonably intact of a Mid Victorian timber cottage, a housing type once common in the Geelong region. The building retains its characteristic siting, form and details including timber skillion verandah, typical window openings, and decorative eaves brackets. The building forms part of the residential streetscape.

DESCRIPTION
This Mid Victorian double fronted cottage with rear skillion has a symmetrical facade constructed of weatherboards and a simple gable roof which has been recently reclad. The corrugated iron skillion verandah has dimple timber posts, a timber valance and brackets which are appropriate to the style of the house and appear to be substantially original timbers. Typical double hung sash windows are positioned on either side of the central entrance with highlight. Exposed eaves brackets
