Statement of Significance
Though the adjacent houses vary in integrity, 241 Moreland Rd remains substantially intact except for the loss of much of its cast iron decoration. The house is the closest to the station and is critical to the streetscape. The terrace as a whole is of regional significance as one of the furthest north and most impressive examples of this type built in the northern suburbs of Melbourne in the late 19th century (Hubbard 1991).
