The house, constructed c.1910, at 191 High Street, Berwick.
The house at 191 High Street Berwick is of local historic and aesthetic significance to the City of Casey.
Historically, it is significant as a representative example of a town residence that demonstrates the development of Berwick during the early twentieth century. (AHC criteria A4 and D2)
Aesthetically, it is significant as a representative example of a simple Edwardian cottage, which is notable for its high degree of external intactness and is complemented by a mature garden setting. (AHC criterion E1)

House; 191 High Street, BERWICK - Physical Description 1
The house at 191 High Street Berwick is an Edwardian weatherboard bungalow with gabled and hipped corrugated galvanised steel roof, which incorporates a return verandah within the roofing. The verandah is supported by chamfered timber columns. Windows are grouped double hung sashes.
The house is set within a large garden which is overgrown and in poor condition. It retains a Canary Island Date Palm at the front and a Fig at the rear. There is an overgrown Cypress Hedge at the side.House; 191 High Street, BERWICK - Physical Conditions
