Statement of Significance
An attractive bluestone church of importance for its stained glass. It was designed by H R Caselli of Ballarat and began in 1861, the tower being added later. The building comprises a nave, chancel, organ chamber and west end tower with prominent corner pinnacles and crenellated parapet. The nave has a fine hammerbeam roof and rear gallery and stained glass windows by British, European and local makers.
