Contribution to the landscape of historic garden
Outstanding example of species
Located in the front garden, on the western side of the property, the tree makes a significant contribution to this landscape and the entire house and garden setting. The tree is significant due to its size and the way in which it rests in the landscape as a complementary element to the overall setting.
"Raheen" is a substantial brick mansion of the Italianate style, thought to have been built from around 1868. Following subdivisions the grounds have been reduced to approximately 3 acres.
