STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A characteristic relatively simple symmetrical Italianate timber house built in 1886. It has charmingly romantic chinmey pots. It is architecturally significant locally as a characteristic Italianate house and historically as a representative embodiment ofthe more restrained way of life of Newtown in the late nineteenth century.

DESCRIPTION
A doublefronted symmetrical timber Italianate house with a hipped roof. The verandah returns at left to a further projecting bay. It is convex, with a Classicallyderived lacework valence over a rail. Chinmeys have romantic octagonal pots, with incised hearts at the top coved mould. The door has side and fanlights with ruby glass. Eaves have turned spindle friezebrackets. There are three skillion timber window quot hoods at right.
