STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A mid-Victorian timber house, prior to 1860. It is architecturally significant as characteristic of its style and historically significant in embodying the way of life in 1870s Newtown.

Residence - Physical Description 1
Description
A double-fronted, symmetrical, mid-Victorian, hip-roofed timber house. One wing projects at the right side, rear, to which the concave hip-roofed verandah returns. Chimneys are corbelled, with pots. There is a plain frieze mould. The verandah has bevelled posts and a cast-iron valence over a rail. The entrance door is four-panelled, with side and fan-lights.
