STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCEA characteristic early timber Californian bungalow built in 1920. it is architecturally significant locally as representative of this domestic style and historically as embodying this period of life in Newtown.

Residence - Physical Description 1
A double-fronted timber Californian Bungalow with a gabled roof across. The left bay is set forward facing over the recessed verandah and hall awning in the angle. This has a segmental small leadlight window. Upper gables have two levels of battered jettying shingles. The roof has unglazed terra-cotta Marseilles tiles. Windows are triples, all rectangular panes of leadlight, 30 to each sash. Rafters are exposed.
