Residence - Physical Description 1
Description:
Although essentially a bungalow style it is a highly individualised design. A single storey building with side porch; the principal gable runs transversely across the site and a projecting front gable indicates the main room. The main room is further accented by a bay window. It has weatherboard walls and terra-cotta tile roof. Decorative elements include the rough-cast chimney, the gable vent and shingled projection, the port hole window and the geometric glazing bars of the projecting casement windows. The gate and wire fence have decorative timber posts. The posts have recessed arrow engravings and caps of turned wood. The integrity of the building and fence is excellent.
