STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE:
59 The Esplanade is good example of an Edwardian house with turret. It is of local significance.
POLICY RECOMMENATIONS
G.R.P.S.
A more appropriate fence and paint colours would greatly enhance the character of this building as would more appropriate verandah columns.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The single storey timber house is clad in weatherboards and the hipped and gabled roof is clad in corrugated iron. It is essentially Edwardian in design with a smalltower and turret. Similar turrets and broad window hoods canbe seen on many other timber houses of this period, in The Esplanade and in Villamanta Street.
