82b Whyte Street Coleraine Moore Saddlery

29/06/17

After the building was remodelled in circa 1905/6, it was divided into two separate commercial premises, both with a Whyte Street frontage. The larger 82a shop fronted the accommodation at the rear. The Poynton Chemist shop took the larger premises in 1906 & the smaller premises were purchased by Thomas Moore & his brother in law Robert McInroy, for a saddlery business. McInroy remained in his Merino business & Thomas Moore took over and owned the Coleraine saddlery from 1908 to 1955.
