Why is it significant?
This importance (Criterion E) is derived from its design which is that of an unusual transition villa demonstrating Arts and Crafts influence and howing its debt to the Federation villa as well as foreshadowing the emergence of the Californian Bungalow during the second decade of the twentieth century.
