Architecturally, a large and altered typical Italianate suburban villa: of regional interest, local importance.
Historically , little is known of the Hazzard family, but its occupation by Northern College lends a quasi public building importance: of local importance.

HOUSE - Physical Description 1
An asymmetrically planned, two storeyed polychrome brick house with a two-level cast-iron verandah. Arched openings and valence mouldings to the upper verandah bressumer add distinction to an otherwise typical house. A dwarf iron palisade fence is at the frontage (cut back). The roof has been tiled, the front fence modified and atypical planting carried out (gum tree).
