House - Physical Description 1
A large attic style house which has a complex terracotta shingled roof with jerkin gables (i.e. gables hipped at their apex). The main gable contains attic rooms facing the street and a pair of lower transverse gables is stepped out along the northern elevation. .the roof of the front gable has a broken pitch which extends out over a verandah. Clinker brick chimneys punctuate the roof line. It is assumed that this was the residence of noted architect F L Klingender.
