WHARE-HA - Physical Description 1
'Whare-Ha' at 62 Barrow Street, Coburg is an asymmetrical Edwardian weatherboard villa. The main half gabled corrugated iron roof has ridge capping and extends to enclose the front verandah, which is supported on timber posts with wrought iron lacework. Other notable original features include: timber and pressed metal detailing to the projecting gable, a box bay window, two chimneys with rendered caps and terracotta pots, front door with sidelight, flanked by two symmetrically placed timber double hung sash windows, and a rendered 'frieze' mid-way in the front wall of the verandah.
The weatherboards to the front of the projecting gable wall have been altered as described above. Otherwise the house is very intact, externally. The front fence, although not original, is sympathetic.WHARE-HA - Physical Conditions
